Brenda Parai has lived in Calgary for almost 30 years and values the community. Through her success and network as a Realtor, Brenda took a big step in 2010 starting a new charity running & walking event in Calgary to raise funds for charities in our growing city.
The first annual "Urban Venus Deliciously Sweet Run" took place on September 19, 2010 in Edworthy Park in support of the New Science Centre Project 2011. Brenda Parai and Urban Venus Nailbar spearheaded this new charity event in support of our city's new science centre that will offer programs for kids to explore their options in science.
The 2nd annual Urban Venus Decliciously Sweet Run is scheduled to take Place on Sunday, September 18, 2011 at its new location at the site of the new Science Centre. Plans are underway and Brenda Parai very excited to be a part of this event again this year.
As part of her involvement in the Telus World of Science, Brenda Parai participated in the 2010 Beauty and Brains Conference where she presented to teen girls about what it is like to run a business and to encourage girls to reach for their dreams in work and life.
